
After the overwhelming success of our SAVE campaign back in February - where we rehomed over 500 cats (in 5 days no less), we didn't think we would be in a similar predicament in November, but we are. Which is why we are halving the adoption fee of all adult cats (12months+) in RSPCA NSW shelters across the state and the RSPCA Care Centre at Rouse Hill from Friday 2nd of December 2011 until the 29th of February 2012.
Adult cats are a good choice for homes that aren't ready to go through the training that a kitten requires. They are a little more laid back and more prone to favoring a lap or blanket, rather than running around the house looking for trouble. RSPCA’s Sydney Shelter in Yagoona has reached capacity with these "mature moggies" as have many of our regional shelters and so we urge people considering pet adoption to visit the RSPCA now to find their new feline friend.
