With only around 2% of our funding coming from the government, RSPCA depends on the support of the community to continue to make a difference to animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty to animals.

Exotic Animals in Circuses

RSPCA is opposed to the use of exotic animals, such as elephants, large cats and monkeys, because the requirements of circus life are not compatible with the physiological, social and behavioural needs of these animals.
