In 2011 RSPCA NSW became an accredited RTO provider.

We currently offer accredited training in:

- Certificate II in Animal Care (dogs and cats)
- Certificate II in Animal Care (dogs, cats, mammals, birds and rodents)
- Micro-chipping
- Animal First Aid
- Euthanasia

These courses are offered at the RSPCA Sydney Shelter at Yagoona. This gives participants real life access to shelter animals and the use of the RSPCA facilities.

Our head trainer also travels around the state facilitating these courses based on need and numbers.

If you would like to learn more about your pet, or about companion animals in general, in the future RSPCA will also offer non accredited training in specialised and interest fields.
