The RSPCA is a non-government charity that relies greatly on our members and the public to assist in the costs involved in the operations that the Society performs everyday.
Your support and donations assist the Society by maintaining our Inspectorate, Shelters and Clinics, giving us the resources to educate the community on current animal welfare issues and helping the RSPCA lobby for improvement in animal welfare legislation.
Membership of the RSPCA entitles you to receive our quarterly Animals magazine. Animals is our informative magazine that outlines current animal welfare issues and upcoming RSPCA events. Most importantly, Animals is a means for our members to make a difference to prevent the suffering of our creature friends, as it contains petitions and addresses of whom to write to for improvements in animal welfare conditions.
The more members the Society has, the more pressure we can exert on the government when lobbying issues, such as banning hunting, ceasing the export of live animals, and preventing many other forms of cruelty to animals.

Categories of membership
• Annual member: $22.00 each year (incl. GST)
• Paw Prints Club - Junior member: $20.00 for the first year, then $15 each subsequent year (incl. GST)
• Pensioner: $11.00 each year (incl. GST)
• Life member: $550.00 lifetime fee (incl. GST)

Please note that the Board of RSPCA NSW must approve all membership applications for the Society at their end-of-month meetings. On approval, a letter of congratulations will follow within the next few days following the meeting. Board meetings are usually held on the fourth Friday of every month.
