RSPCA Inspectors
The RSPCA is advertising three Inspector Positions one Dubbo based, one Newcastle based and one in the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
Using the legislative framework of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 200/1979 the position will require you to investigate complaints in relation to alleged animal cruelty in a timely and professional manner.
Ideally you will bring to the position, sound knowledge and experience with domestic, livestock or native animal species. You should be confident with the use of computers and relevant software and have well developed written and verbal communication skills. The possession of previous law enforcement or investigative experience is also highly desirable.
You must hold a current Class C drivers licence and be eligible to hold a NSW Firearms Licence and be appointed a Special Constable.

Customer Service Officer – Grade 3
Part-time – Maternity Cover – 6 months
RSPCA NSW – Hunter Shelter is seeking a motivated and energetic person to undertake a range of Customer Service duties to ensure high standards of animal welfare are maintained.
Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills, along with an excellent telephone manner. The successful applicant would possess the ability to work well in a team environment, be well presented, organised, efficient and able to show initiative.
Proficient conflict resolution skills, computer skills and the ability to work to a deadline in a busy environment are required for this role.
Knowledge of the Companion Animals Act and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act would be advantageous. A current NSW Drivers Licence is essential.

Hours: Up to 9 shifts a fortnight
Days: The successful applicant will be required to work some weekend days and public holidays

One of Sydney’s largest Veterinary Hospitals is looking for an enthusiastic, hard working, full time trainee veterinary nurse.

This position is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and public holiday work.
Salary package as per the RSPCA (NSW) Enterprise Agreement.

You also posess a high standard of conflict resolution, time management and organisations skills and are capable of working in a constantly evolving environment whilst working within the constraints of the Companion Animals Act.
