Behaviour Consultations
Behaviour problems are one of the most common reasons that people surrender or abandon their animals, especially dogs.
Each year, hundreds of dogs, cats and other animals are brought to the RSPCA because their owners could not understand their pet’s behaviour or how to improve it. Sadly, hundreds of dogs and cats are euthanased because of behaviour problems. However, many owners can now be helped to keep their pets through the RSPCA’s range of behavioural services.
Dr Judith Randall (BVSc, MACVSc (animal behaviour), a Delta accredited dog training instructor and veterinary nurse Anna Herring offer behavioural consultations both over the telephone and in our Yagoona clinic.
They treat common behaviour problems such as barking, separation anxiety, aggression, timidity and fear of storms and fireworks. For a consultation phone (02) 9770 7555.
