The Annual General Meeting of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be held at 6.00pm on Monday 3rd December 2007 at the RSPCA Yagoona Shelter, 201 Rookwood Road, Yagoona.

RSPCA NSW Board Members 

Meet the members of our Board

 

Mr Andrew Wozniak, LL.B. (Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law) - President

Mr Wozniak is currently president, and has served on the NSW Board since 1996. Mr Wozniak is a legal advocate for the RSPCA, a solicitor and life member of the Society.

Dr Peter Wright
- Vice President

Dr Wright is a veterinarian who runs his own practice at Goulburn, NSW and treats domestic pets, livestock, wildlife and other exotic species. Dr Wright has a long involvement with animal care groups including WIRES, and assisting the local RSPCA inspector.

Mr Graham Hall - Vice President

Mr Hall has been an RSPCA Board member for over 20 years. Mr Hall is a grazier and a partner in a family property near Young raising shorthorn cattle, fine wool merino sheep and crops.

Mr Doug Dean - Treasurer

Mr Dean is managing director of environmental waste management company, Collex Onyx. He is the longest serving CEO in Australia's waste management and industrial services sectors.  He is also chairman of the Collex group in New Zealand and South Africa and director of the group in the USA, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines.

Ms Wendy Barrett - Treasurer

Ms W Barrett EMBA, B Bus, Dip Corporate Director, Grad Dip IR – Ms Barrett has held a previous role of President of the RSPCA Auxiliary and has a special interest in progressing animal welfare, animal care and ethics. She is the manager of Business Strategy and Reporting for the Minister of Transport.

Mr Paul O'Donnell


Mr O'Donnell was elected to the Board in October 1998. A Barrister at Law, Mr O'Donnell is particularly interested in the Society's efforts to respond to issues of animal cruelty.

Mrs Dulcie Goldstien

Mrs Goldstien’s father was a farrier/blacksmith in South Africa, and during her youth she shared her life with many farm and domestic animals which were cared for by the family.

 

Today her life remains dominated with animal welfare, and as a Director of Annangrove Dog Training Centre, her greatest joy is to work with and rehabilitating problem dogs.  She has had the opportunity to teach children the correct ways to treat animals and enjoys this immensely.

 

She was granted Honorary Life Membership of RSPCA in 1979 and has always been proud to support this organisation.

Mrs Carol Youdan

Mrs Youdan has been President, Vice President and Secretary of the Taree Branch for over 14 years. A Company Director, Mrs Youdan was elected to the Board in 1996.

Ms Neen Brown

Ms Brown has been involved with RSPCA Armidale for the past 9 years.  She is the past president, and current dog carer coordinator. For the past 8 years she has been involved with the Animal Ethics Committee of the University of New England.

Mr Steven Coleman - Chief Executive Officer


Steve has been with RSPCA NSW since 1991 in a number of positions including Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector, Chief Inspector and Deputy CEO. Steve has contributed to animal welfare in many ways including sitting on many government and industry committees and advisory councils including the Animal Welfare Advisory Council that reports direct to the Minister for Primary Industries. Additionally, Steve has experience on committee sectors relating to companion animals, livestock, feral animal management, native and wildlife management. He has tertiary qualifications including a Graduate Diploma in Investigation Management and more recently, a Masters in Business Administration.
