Little bit about Willa

Hey friends, my name is Willa and it is a pleasure to meet you!!

I came to the RSPCA as a stray as I got myself lost one day taking myself for a walk, I even still had my harness on, the staff have been wonderful looking after me I was a little timid at first but they have shown me that life can be fun not just scary.
I am now on the lookout for that extra special forever home that will treat me like a princess, I would love to go to a family with children over 12 years old and that are confident around big dogs, I can still be timid around new people so it would be amazing if my new family could continue my basic training as well has help me build my confidence around new people, if you let me go at my own pace and approach people on my own I come around quickly.
I would love to have my own safe haven in my new home whether that be a nice kennel or deck area outside throughout the day, and some soft comfy beds inside so I can come in at night and be apart of all the family fun and just hang out with the people I love.
I have meet a few friendly dogs here on my daily walks and I am quite uncomfortable around them so it would be better for me to go to a home where I would be the only dog and it would be better not to take me to off leash areas as it stresses me when dogs jump and get in my personal space. Since I will be an only dog if you need to leave me alone while you go out please make sure you leave me with some fun things to do to keep me busy and entertained, things like a paddle pool, toys, treasure hunts using hidden treats, slow feeder, licks mats or a kong will keep me happy until you return to me.
I would love my family to take me on daily walks and weekend adventures with them, I am an active girl and love to roll around and play so keeping me active will keep me happy and help us build that unbreakable bond.
If you think I could be the girl for you please come into the hunter shelter today to say hi, make sure you bring the whole family so we can make sure we are the perfect fit!!
Love Willa xoxo
