Little bit about Matilda

Hi there! My name is Matilda, and I'm a soft-hearted, sweet-natured cat who might be a bit shy at first, but with patience and a gentle approach, I’ll be a loving friend for life.

When I first arrived here at the shelter, I was a little overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds—it’s a big world out there, after all! To help me feel more comfortable, I’m on a little bit of medication, and it’s really helping me relax as I wait to meet my perfect match. I’d do best in a quiet, peaceful home without young children, as a calmer setting makes me feel safe and more open to bonding.

Once I feel at home, I’ll be the sweetest companion. I love gentle pets, cozy spots for naps, and having a warm lap to curl up on. If you’re patient and kind, I’ll reward you with my gentle affection and quiet loyalty. Will you be the one to help me bloom into my best self? 🐾
