Hello there, I’m Cuddles! I’m a sweet 3-year-old boy with a big heart, but I’m a little bit different from what my name might suggest. I love my own space and like things to be on my own terms. I’m a bit shy at first, and I need consistency and a predictable routine to feel safe and secure in my new home.
I’m not the biggest fan of too much physical contact—think of it like being tickled all over your body 24/7. I have a low touch tolerance, so I can sometimes get overwhelmed by too much handling or petting. This doesn’t mean I don’t want love, it just means I prefer it in my own way and on my own time.
That’s why I’d do best in an adult-only household where there’s no loud, bustling energy to spook me. I need a calm, predictable environment where I can feel safe and not overwhelmed. I’d also be happiest with an experienced cat owner who understands feline behavior and knows how to read my body language—this way, we can build a strong bond and mutual understanding.
I’ve had a rough past as a stray, and unfortunately, I tested positive for FIV after some cat fights. So, I’m looking for a home where I can be the only cat and live indoors where I can stay safe and sound.
It might take me some time to adjust to a new environment, but with the right person who’s patient and willing to give me space, I’ll be the perfect companion. I promise, once I trust you, I’ll show you how much I appreciate you!
