I'm a mature gent, so I don't require much training – just a nice, calm environment to spend my golden years in. I do enjoy the company of my fellow dogs, as long as they're not too small – I tend to get a bit overexcited! As for humans, I'd love to find someone who's home most of the time. I'm an affectionate soul who thrives on companionship. I'm a Beagle through and through, so I'll need a family who understands my breed and can provide me with the care I need. I'll need to know my place at times 'cos I have a bit of a "god complex" but can you blame me.. I'm absolutely beautiful after all.. - Must meet all dogs (Samson is prosocial with other dogs, although I believe he doesn't actually know how "to dog", he has shown a positive valence when interacting with dogs at the shelter, often used to socialise younger pups in care)
- Experienced Owner (due to behavioural management – must have had a low touch dog previously and be aware of their need for space and consent when interacting)
- Kids 12+ Years (need to have some knowledge of how to safely, and respectfully interact with dogs)
- RG potential waiver (Separate to feed from other animals-growls)
- Noise sensitivity waiver (scared of storms/fireworks/loud sudden noises)Â
- Inside/outside access (Appears toilet trained, barks to be let out)
- Time alone handout + SRB potential waiver (Moderate)
