He’s shown that he feels more confident when he has the company of another dog, so he must go to a home with a friendly and well-adjusted canine companion to help him settle and grow. Though he’s shy at first, Joey has a lot of love to give once he feels safe. In care, he has shown fearful behaviors, like hiding, so a crate in his new home is highly recommended to provide him with a secure, quiet space where he can retreat whenever he needs.
