Hi there!
I’m Berry, a lovely little lady with a bit of a shy side. My story started off in a tough place, so I’ve had to take some time to figure out that humans aren't so scary after all. At first, I was a bit hesitant around all the new noises and movements – they used to make me feel nervous. But guess what? I’ve learned to trust the kind humans at the RSPCA, and now I’m ready for my forever home!
I’m not the kind of kitty who rushes in for cuddles right away – I prefer to take my time getting comfortable. I might give a little hiss or growl when I’m unsure, but don’t worry – that’s just me saying “Hey, I need some space right now.” It’s nothing personal! Once I feel safe and I get to know you better, you’ll see the true me – a sweet, loving little gem who will shower you with affection. And I can be pretty playful, too! I love to chase after toys and sometimes even get a little silly. You’ll see that side of me when I’m ready!
One thing I do love is window watching. I’m a bit of a TV fan, and I’ll happily curl up by the window to observe the outside world. It gives me a nice spot to relax and keep an eye on things.
Oh I also LOVE FOOD!!!!
I’d love to have a space in my new home that’s all my own – a little safe space with plenty of hidey holes where I can go to feel safe and decompress. It’s important for me to have a quiet, cozy place to retreat to when things feel a little overwhelming. When I’m ready, I’ll come out and join you – and you’ll see just how sweet and special I really am.
Because I’m still learning to trust and prefer a calm, peaceful environment, I’d be happiest in a quiet home with no children under 15 and no dogs. This will help me feel safe and allow me to settle in at my own pace.
