Little bit about Phoenix

Hello there, I'm Phoenix, a 4-year-old quiet, shy Kelpie X.

I'm a mature lady, so I don't require much training. I will need a bit of help with house training though as I have been an outside dog for most of my life – hence why it's best I go to a home with mainly outdoor access. I'm looking for a home where my humans want a chill buddy to hang out with, I don't mind cuddles but love a good walk more. I do best in a single dog household, so I can soak up all the attention. I'm not mean to other dogs, I just don't really care for them, I'm happy to cross the road with you and observe them from afar.

I'm not a fan of too much chaos, so I'd prefer a home with adults or older kids (6 years +), especially as I'm not super fond of pats sometimes. I may be uncomfortable when pat too much and will need understanding children to respect my space.
