Little bit about Nitro

Hi, I'm Nitro! I'm a 2-year-old male Kelpie, and if you're looking for an active, energetic, and intelligent companion, then I’m your guy! I thrive on exercise and mental stimulation, so I’m always up for a run, a hike, or a good play session. I’m naturally inclined to herd, so don’t be surprised if I try to gather up other animals or even people—it's just what my breed is known for! Because of my high energy levels and busy nature, I need someone who’s familiar with Kelpies and can keep me engaged both physically and mentally.

My history is largely unknown but I may be ok living with confident children, I’ll need to meet any kids in the home first to make sure we’re a good match. I can be a little enthusiastic, so it’s important we all click! If you have other dogs, we’ll need to meet them too, just to make sure our energy levels match. I’m looking for a home where I can keep moving, learning new things, and getting the attention and care I need. If you think you’re the right fit for me, I can’t wait to meet you!
