Home Adopt From HomeCOVID-19 Adoption Application RSPCA NSW is committed to finding loving homes for all our available animals. To protect the health and safety of our staff and the wider community in the Greater Sydney region, we’ve had to make some temporary changes to our usual adoption process. If you’re interested in adopting a specific animal from our RSPCA NSW Sydney, Blue Mountains or Illawarra locations, please fill out the application form below and our team will be in touch to begin the adoption process. Sydney: If you are approved for adoption, our team will allocate you an appointment at our Sydney Shelter car park to meet your potential new pet and process the adoption. There will be no fee for our One Stop Adopt service. Blue Mountains and Illawarra: If you are approved for adoption, an available team member will then transport the animal outside their new home to have a ‘meet and greet’ and to finalise the adoption, ensuring all physical distancing measures are adhered to. Please note, that our Adopt From Home service carries an additional $55 fee, on top of the adoption fee, to make the transportation of our animals cost-neutral. This fee will cover the cost of additional staff, petrol and tolls, and will help to ensure we continue to funnel our valuable resources back into the animals who need us most. Despite these significant changes, we want to assure you that our standards for rehoming will remain the same – finding the perfect forever home for our animals has been, and always will be, our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. With your help and support, we can ensure our animals still experience the love, care and forever homes they deserve.
