Buddy had been hurt in ways you could see
…and in ways you couldn’t see
This three-year-old Kelpie cross had a shocking wound. He’d been tied up – for months – with a heavy metal chain around his neck. The chain had become deeply embedded in his skin.
He was in pain, and he was terrified.
This winter, thousands of animals will arrive through our shelter doors. An increasing number of them, like Buddy, will have complex needs. They’ll need urgent vet treatment, as well as patient behavioural support to overcome their fears and anxieties.
Animals like Buddy, who have suffered cruelty or neglect, need more time in our care. That means greater costs.
Animal lovers like you from across the state are uniting to raise vital funds to help care for animals this winter. We have until 30 June.
Will you help NSW’s most vulnerable animals?
Your compassionate tax-deductible gift could help provide everything from urgent vet care to behavioural support for an animal like Buddy.
You can help rescued animals heal and find the loving home they deserve.
