The RSPCA NSW Education Team presents its programs to a wide variety of groups including:

We can modify any of the following topics to suit your audience or group, so please let us know if you are interested in a particular aspect of animal welfare.

Dog Safety

Learn how to safely interact with dogs, covering four key messages:

  1. How to read dog body language
  2. Steps to meeting a dog for the first time
  3. Situations in which we do and do not interact with dogs
  4. What to do when encountering an unknown dog

RSPCA in the Community

Learn about the role of RSPCA NSW in the community and how the organisation helps animals. Explore RSPCA case studies and success stories.

With donations keeping the non-government funded charity afloat, discuss how funds are utilised to help run a multitude of programs and services.

Responsible Pet Ownership

Learn what is involved in caring for a pet, focusing primarily on cat and dog care. The components include:

  • feeding
  • shelter
  • grooming
  • veterinary treatment
  • enrichment

We can also incorporate information on rabbits, guinea pigs, birds or fish.
