Volunteer at an event or shelter and make the world of difference.

Blue Mountains Shelter

Volunteers play an important role at RSPCA NSW and help with a wide variety of tasks across the state. Volunteering with us involves commitment, dedication and passion. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people and be directly involved in protecting animals from cruelty and neglect. Opportunities may differ between locations based on current availabilities and need.

Located in North Katoomba, it acts as the animal holding facility for Blue Mountains City Council. The shelter offers microchipping services, dog boarding and retail products, as well as an annual open day for the community. Our team accommodate Foster Care and School Holiday programs and work placements for students undertaking Certificate II in Animal Studies.

Available Roles
