Volunteer at an event or shelter and make the world of difference.

Shoalhaven Shelter

Volunteers play an important role at RSPCA NSW and help with a wide variety of tasks across the state. Volunteering with us involves commitment, dedication and passion. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people and be directly involved in protecting animals from cruelty and neglect. Opportunities may differ between locations based on current availabilities and need.

Located in Nowra, the Shoalhaven shelter acts as the animal holding facility for Shoalhaven City Council. As well as companion animals, the shelter often has livestock available for adoption, including goats, horses, pigs, poultry and sheep. In addition, the shelter offers a Foster Care program.
