Videographer Volunteer

RSPCA NSW is seeking videographer volunteers. The role would also assist in the collection, editing and standardising of footage and/or content captured by other employees.

This role is designed to help in the development, editing and production of audio and video content for RSPCA NSW. These assets would be used for fundraising, promotional, marketing, advertising, education, training and employee development purposes.

As a videographer volunteer, you will help provide creative development, pre-production, filming, recording, editing, post-production and content distribution support for RSPCA NSW. RSPCA NSW will ensure that you receive appropriate training and will provide ongoing support to explore other opportunities within the organisation, if required.

Availability: Monday to Friday, flexible for weekends

Times involved:  9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with flexibility

Location: Sydney

Volunteer tasks and responsibilities

  • Developing and editing audio and video content
  • Collecting and editing of standardise footage
  • Helping provide creative development through filming and recording
  • Complying with all Work Health and Safety guidelines
  • Understanding and complying with RSPCA NSW policies and procedures

Check requirements

  • Advanced skills in After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Premier
  • Advanced skills in camera operation, lighting and sound production
  • Portfolio or a sample of your work is required
  • Own equipment is desirable
  • Ability to follow direction and work within a team and individually
  • Reliable
  • Well organised, flexible and able to prioritise
  • Enjoy interacting with people and animals

A National Police Check will need to be completed prior to your commencement. Specific volunteer roles may require an additional Working with Children Check.
