As Australia's pre-eminent animal welfare organisation, the RSPCA provides a strong voice for animals. We work with local councils, state and federal governments and other interested groups including community organisations, wildlife authorities, farmers and professional associations, to ensure the rights of animals are upheld.
Despite our efforts, dogs are being confined to cruel puppy farms to produce puppies for profit, 11 million Australian hens are in cages, millions of Australian animals are sent overseas to destinations that have no laws to protect them and people still are leaving their dogs in cars on hot days.
That’s why we need your support. One of the most simplest ways is to get behind RSPCA animal welfare campaigns and support our petitions. The more voices we have behind us, the more the government will listen when we present the case on behalf of animals.
