URGENT: The Premier announced a state of emergency on Thursday. Animals are at unprecedented risk.
Bushfires, kitten season, heatwaves. We’re dealing with a lot this time of year.
As our inspectors, animal attendants, veterinarians and vet nurses will tell you… this time of year is always flat out. But the end of 2019 has been tougher than usual.
We’re continuing our work in fire-affected communities, responding to animal welfare checks and distributing donated pet supplies. Meanwhile, our shelter staff are welcoming an influx of kittens and our veterinarians and vet nurses are administering crucial treatment to injured or neglected animals.
There’s so much going on. And we can only do it because of you.
Your donation helps get through this hot, challenging season. It keeps our inspectors on the road helping communities doing it tough this summer. It helps our veterinarians be there for emergencies.
Your kindness helps to reach out and protect the many, many animals who are searching for a second chance.
