As a volunteer Laundry Assistant, you’ll be helping to keep our shelters and adoption centres running smoothly. The role will involve collecting and managing laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting bedding and linens. You’ll also be responsible for organising the laundry room, sorting donations, and ensuring that fresh, clean beds are made and delivered to the right places. Your efforts will ensure that our furry friends can enjoy a clean, comfortable environment.Â
In addition to laundry duties, you can play a part preparing meals for the animals in our shelters, taking care to follow the ‘feed sheets’ and guidelines provided by our staff. This involves preparing meals and enrichment items, then delivering them throughout the shelter.Â
