RSPCA NSW runs courses about animal care and welfare for all age groups.

Family Fun

Throughout the year, the RSPCA NSW Education Team runs Family Fun Days for animal-loving families. Located at our Sydney Shelter, the program is packed full of seasonally-themed activities, time with the animals and a behind-the-scenes tour of our shelter and veterinary hospital. Plus, a whole heap of facts about creatures big and small.

It’s a perfect day for any animal enthusiast who wants to learn more about the important work we do at RSPCA NSW.

Who can take part?

Everyone is welcome! There is no minimum or maximum age to take part in our Family Fun Days.

However, the activities are aimed at children no younger than three years old. We also ask that parents register no more than three children per adult, to ensure adequate supervision during the day.

Please note: Our shelters use peanut butter as part of the enrichment program for the animals. If your child or children have allergies, or you have any concerns, please feel free to contact the Education Team on (02) 9782 4478 prior to registering.

How much does it cost?

We ask for a $5 donation from each attendee to cover the cost of running the program.
