By giving animals the gift of love, you will help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome vulnerable animals across NSW. No matter how small your contribution, your donation will help ensure they are protected from cruelty and neglect.
Whether you become a regular giver or contribute a one-time gift, you’ll be providing animals in need with a second chance at life.

As a charity, we strive to maintain an open-door policy, ensuring that animals, no matter their background, are never turned away or forgotten. With aims like supporting people and pets, and improving animal welfare education in NSW, we acknowledge the crucial role humans play in keeping our animals safe.
Your generous gifts can help us keep our shelters, behaviour centres, and veterinary hospitals open, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. We not only serve a diverse range of animals – including horses and pocket pets – but also pet owners who require guidance and support. Our Crisis Support Programs provide vital assistance in relation to domestic violence, aged care, homelessness, mental health, and more.
Through our Inspectorate, we also operate the largest animal enforcement unit in NSW. Today, our Inspectorate involves more than 50 Inspectors investigating instances of alleged animal cruelty and a 24-hour call centre equipped to handle reports.
Please consider joining us in our mission to protect and care for animals. Great or small, they deserve our protection and respect – they bring so much joy to our lives and remind us of what it means to live humanely.
There are so many other ways to give our animals the gift of love. You can support our shelters and adoption centres by providing our teams with essential animal supplies. Our shelters keep a wish list of items such as bedding, towels, and toys – items like these are always in need and greatly appreciated by our shelter animals.
You could also volunteer, become a foster carer, or help raise funds for the animals in our care. Even something as simple as purchasing RSPCA Pet Insurance can go a long way, as a portion of your fee contributes directly to the care of animals across NSW.
Yes, any contribution over two dollars is tax deductible.
Several times a year, RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman writes letters to you asking for your support to help continue our work. Steve’s letters usually feature current animal cruelty cases and rescue stories. We hope Steve’s words might move you to help us help them by donating.
RSPCA NSW partners with tele-fundraising agencies to raise essential funds for vulnerable animals across the state. The purpose of these calls can vary, from inviting supporters to join the RSPCA Rescue Team (our monthly donors), to purchasing lottery tickets, or simply updating existing details.
Our tele-fundraising agencies will always identify themselves at the start of a call and will only use a visible phone number, typically a mobile (never a private number). They will contact you during the following hours: Monday to Friday: 9am – 8pm or Saturday: 9am – 5pm
They will not call on Sundays or public holidays.
Tele-fundraising remains one of the most effective ways to raise vital funds for our cause, and we are primarily supported by a generous community of animal lovers. If you have any concerns, please contact our Supporter Care team at 1300 777 221.

We promise to uphold the highest ethical standards. Your personal information has never been, and never will be sold or traded to other charities. This is our promise to you.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we live and work. We recognise and respect the enduring relationship they have with their lands and waterways, and particularly acknowledge the vital role animals have played in Indigenous life, stories and culture for tens of thousands of years.
