Hi there! I’m Neteyam
I’m a beautiful blue-feathered Indian Ringneck, and while I might not be the cuddly, hands-on type, I have my own special way of connecting. I much prefer relaxing on my perch, watching the world go by, and greeting my favourite people with cheerful little chirps throughout the day.
I take life in stride and handle new sounds, toys, and routines with a calm and open heart. I’m still in my early years, so I’ve got plenty of energy to learn, grow, and explore everything life has to offer. I especially love puzzle toys and foraging games—they keep my mind busy and make my days so much brighter.
I tend to bond with the people who spend time with me, and I really appreciate a gentle, patient approach. Bright spaces—especially a safe spot by a window—help me show off my stunning colours and keep my spirit happy.
Because I’m not a bird that enjoys being handled, I’ll need a bird-savvy home that understands and respects my boundaries. An aviary setup is important for me, so I have plenty of space to move, stretch my wings, and fly away if I’m feeling overwhelmed.
With the right home, including routine care, enrichment, and regular vet check-ups, I know I’ll absolutely thrive. If you’re someone who understands birds like me and values companionship in a quieter, more observant way, I’d love to be your feathered friend.
