Hi there! My name’s Genie and I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a soft heart and a little wobble in my step.
I can be a bit shy at first, so I’m looking for someone patient who understands that I need a little time before I feel safe and confident. But once I know you, I love being near you and following you around like the loyal little shadow I am. And after my affection bar has been filled, I’ll find the softest spot in the house for a proper nap.
I should probably admit that I’m a clumsy girl. I have this wobble, which means when I go in for a headbunt, I do it with extra enthusiasm. Sometimes I lean, sometimes I flop over, and sometimes I surprise even myself. But don’t worry, I’m absolutely okay. The staff can tell you more about my wobbliness if you enquiry about me (Please!!), and they’ll probably tell you it just makes me even more charming.
Because of my wobble, I would do best in a home where I can move around safely and confidently. Floors with traction are really helpful for me, so if you have wooden or slippery floors, having rugs spread around would make a big difference. Ideally, I’d love carpet because it helps me get around without sliding. Stairs aren’t really my friend, so a home where I don’t have to deal with them would be perfect for me.
I can startle easily, so a calm/quiet household would make me happiest. I’m looking for a place with no children under 12 and where I can be the only pet, so I don’t have to share my safe spaces or your attention. Once I settle in, I’m incredibly affectionate, and I really enjoy lap cuddles when I’ve chosen you as my person.
My dream home has space for me to explore, sunny spots to stretch out in, and a quiet place to retreat to when I need a break.
