Our overarching purpose at RSPCA NSW is to help people help animals. In everything we do, we believe this needs to be at the forefront of our minds. We believe that if we can teach people how to prevent cruelty in the first place, we will reduce the number of animals that need our help, improving animal welfare outcomes. This means we need people who are keen to work with us to achieve that, no matter what their role is.
At RSPCA NSW, we always look for the best person for the job. Passion and love for animals is certainly important, but education and experience are vital too. We also value all the so-called soft skills, such as the ability to prioritise, use initiative and operate as a team player. Because of this, our recruitment process involves a variety of steps, including interviews, skills and medical assessments, and a number of other checks, including reference checks.
