As a Maintenance volunteer, your role us crucial in ensuring our shelters are welcoming and safe, both for our adorable animal residents and visitors alike. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and functionality. This includes sweeping paths and stairways, as well as keeping kennels clean and pristine.
You may also be asked to lend a hand with on-site fixes to our cattery and kennels. A keen eye for detail is essential, as identifying and reporting any workplace health and safety hazards promptly to our facilities manager or staff will help us maintain a safe environment for people and animals alike.

RSPCA NSW rehomes a range of adorable animals, including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! We can help you find a forever friend at any one of our facilities. You can also adopt some of our animals through our partnership with Petbarn.
Becoming a foster carer is another rewarding way to help our animals. If you’re unsure about adopting but looking to personally assist our animals, become a foster carer to help give our animals the love and attention they deserve!

As a charity, we rely on a generous network of donors and supporters to provide any training, treatment, supplies, and rehabilitation our animals may require.
