Hi, I’m Nala 💛
I’m an adult Kelpie with a big heart and three legs, and I’m learning every day how to navigate the world in my own special way. Life on three legs is still something I’m figuring out, but I try my best and I don’t let it stop me from enjoying the simple things. I’m a gentle, sweet girl who can be a little timid when we first meet, but if you give me a bit of patience and kindness, I warm up quickly and love being near my people. Because I like to feel safe and secure, I’ll need to meet all members of my future family before adoption so I know we’re a good match.
I’m happiest being the only dog in the home, as I’ve had some poor experiences with other dogs in the past and they’ve left me feeling unsure. For that reason, I won’t be suitable for off-lead areas or dog parks, but I promise I have more than enough love to give to my humans. I’m looking for a home that understands my needs — one with indoor and outdoor access so I can move comfortably, and no apartments please, as getting around is easier for me with a bit more space. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants a calm, loving place to call home.
