Little bit about Mr Whiskers

Hello, I'm Mr Whiskers, a 12-year-old gentleman with a gentle heart, a soothing purr, and so much love still to give. I've been waiting patiently for my person to come along, and after more than 150 days in care, I'm really hoping that my forever home is just around the corner.

I’m a quiet, sensitive soul, and while I can be a little nervous when I’m in new surroundings, but I find comfort my people. Give me a little time to feel safe, and you’ll soon discover the affectionate, smoochy gentleman I really am!

Once I’m comfortable, I’ll greet you with sweet head bumps, gentle purrs and happy little cuddles on your lap. I’m happiest simply being close to my favourite person, sharing quiet moments together and enjoying the comfort and security of a loving home.

At this stage of my life, I'm not looking for adventure or a busy household. I'm looking for something much more precious: a home of my own, a soft place to sleep, a familiar face to love. I dream of warm sunbeams, cosy blankets, peaceful afternoons and the simple pleasure of having someone nearby.

If you've ever thought about opening your heart to an older cat, please consider giving me a chance. Senior cats have so much to offer, and I would love nothing more than to spend my golden years knowing what it feels like to truly belong.
