Scooter is a sweet older tabby lady looking for a quiet home to call her own after the devastating change in circumstances which were no fault of her own. Having spent much of her life with one special person, Scooter hasn't had the chance to meet many other people, so she can be a little shy when faced with new surroundings and unfamiliar faces. Scooter may need a little extra time and patience to settle into her new home, but once you've earned her trust and formed a bond, you'll discover what a lovely companion she can be. Since she arrived in shelter she has been able to bunt into her attendants and emerging for treats! She enjoys the simple pleasures in life, especially snoozing on the couch beside her person. She's an independent gal who doesn't need constant attention, making her a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a quieter, more relaxed kind of friendship. Scooter has previously enjoyed indoor-outdoor access, so she'd love a safe outdoor space, such as a secure catio, where she can relax and enjoy the fresh air. Alternatively, a sunny windowsill where he can watch the world go by would be just as lovely!
