My name is Bell, and I’m a bay Arab cross mare with soft eyes, curious ears, and a heart that’s still learning how to trust the world.
The truth is, not much is known about my past. The people caring for me now can only guess where I’ve been or what I’ve seen before arriving here. Some horses come with thick folders full of history and accomplishments. Me? I come with mystery, quiet moments, and the hope for a better future.
What they do know is that I deserve kindness.
I may not be the horse who walks into your life already knowing exactly what to expect. I might need patience while we get to know each other. I may pause before trusting, or look to you for reassurance in new situations. But if you listen closely, I think you’ll find I’m trying very hard to understand humans again.
Being an Arab cross means I’m sensitive, intelligent, and deeply connected to the people I bond with. I notice the little things — a calm voice, gentle hands, consistency, and fairness. I want someone who sees me not as a project, but as a partner.
I don’t need perfection. I don’t need fancy tack or ribbons or grand promises. I just hope for a safe place, steady care, and someone willing to let me unfold at my own pace.
Maybe my story before now is unclear so that the next chapter can be the one that truly matters.
If you think you might have room in your heart and home for a mare like me, I’d love the chance to meet you.
Love,
Bell
