I’m a beautiful large merle girl with a big heart to match my size. Once I get to know you, I’m incredibly sweet, loyal, and love being around my people. I can be a little unsure when I first meet new faces, but give me a bit of time and space and I’ll show you just how special I am.
Because I like to take my time building trust, I’ll need to meet everyone in the family before heading home. That way, I can feel comfortable and confident with my new pack right from the start. I’d also do best in a home with children aged 12 and over, as older kids are better at understanding my body language and giving me space when I need it.
While I did come into care with another dog, I generally prefer not to share my home with unfamiliar dogs. I’m happiest as the only dog in the household — unless, of course, I’m going home with my friend Mardi. Otherwise, I’d really love to soak up all the attention as your one and only.
I’m a big girl who appreciates room to move, and I settle much better when I have space. My ideal home will offer both indoor and outdoor access, so I can choose where I’m most comfortable and relax in my own time.
