My name is Diamond. I am an 18-year-old Welsh pony, and I come as a package deal with my beautiful three-month-old foal, Flint.
At my age, I have a quiet wisdom about me, and right now my whole world revolves around being a mum. Flint is still young and learning about everything — from steady steps in the field to trusting gentle human hands. Because of this, we will need to stay together. He still needs my guidance, reassurance, and the comfort only a mother can give.
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced horse home. Raising a foal is such an important responsibility, and Flint will need someone confident in handling, weaning, and educating him as he grows. Patience, consistency, and understanding will help him develop into a well-mannered and confident pony.
For both of our safety, secure fencing suitable for mares and foals is essential. Curious young legs can find trouble quickly, so safe, well-maintained boundaries will help give us the protection we need while Flint explores and learns.
In return, I offer gentle companionship and the steady presence of an older mare, while Flint will bring joy, laughter, and the magic that only a growing foal can bring. Together, we promise to be a rewarding and special pair for the right home.
If you have the experience, facilities, and kindness to welcome both a devoted mother and her growing youngster, we would love to meet you.
With hopeful hearts,
Diamond (and Flint)
