I’m a sweet and thoughtful Kelpie girl looking for a calm, understanding forever home. I can be a little reserved when I first meet new people, but once I feel comfortable, my playful and cheeky side begins to shine. I’m not the bold, over-the-top type — I like to take things at my own pace — but I absolutely still enjoy having fun and being involved in daily life in my own gentle way. I love my walks, exploring the yard, and having little bursts of play when I’m feeling relaxed and confident. I’m also very content simply hanging out nearby, enjoying some quiet company and a cosy place to settle. Having indoor/outdoor access would suit me perfectly so I can choose between relaxing inside with my family and enjoying some sunshine and fresh air outside.
I would like to go home with Pepper, as I rely on an older role model type dog and feel safe and happy when I am with her. If you have a resident dog at home you can bring them in to meet us and see if we all get along.
Because I appreciate calm and respectful interactions, I’m best suited to a home with children 12+ who understand that I sometimes need a little space. I’ll also need a secure yard as I prefer the outdoors to small spaces.
