Hi, I’m Casa Nova — a one-year-old Jack Russell cross with a big personality and an even bigger love for life.
I’m a real ball of energy and I absolutely love being around people. If you’re looking for a companion who will keep you smiling and keep you on your toes, I might just be your guy. I’m a smart boy who enjoys routine and structure, and I thrive when I know what to expect each day. I’m always ready to learn, and with the right guidance I’m excited to keep building my skills.
My favourite thing in the world is playtime. Whether it’s chasing toys, running around the yard, or enjoying fun games with my humans, I’m happiest when I’m moving and engaging with the people I love. I also really enjoy attention and being part of the action with my family.
Because I’m still learning how to feel comfortable when left alone, I’d do best in a home where someone is around more often than not. With patience, consistency, and lots of positive experiences, I’m continuing to work on managing my separation anxiety.
I’m looking for a calm, quiet household where I can feel safe and settled. I can sometimes become overwhelmed by lots of touching or busy environments, so I’d be best suited to a home with children over 12 who can understand my boundaries and give me space when I need it.
Being a terrier cross, I have strong instincts, which means I wouldn’t be suited to a home with small pets or pocket pets. I’d also do best as the only dog in the home. I can get a bit frustrated around other dogs at this stage, so living solo will help me feel more relaxed and set me up for success.
I can also be a little sensitive to loud or sudden noises, so a calm environment where things are fairly predictable would help me feel comfortable and confident.
