Hi, I’m Basil. I’m a tan, medium-sized rabbit with a calm, listening heart. At one year old, I’m old enough to feel confident in my surroundings, yet I still carry a touch of curiosity about the world beyond my front paws. I move with a soft, even hop and a keen, listening nose that picks up the whisper of every breeze. I’m happiest when I can slip into a warm, quiet space and let the day’s sounds fade away. I’m not in a rush to explore; I like to observe first and settle in with a steady, patient hand by my side. I’m generally well adapted, which means I thrive in a home that respects my pace. I feel safest with a calm, predictable routine and a person who lets me explore at my own speed. My essential need is secure outdoor access: an enclosed backyard or an enclosure attached to the home, so I can enjoy the outdoors without worry. The sun-warm grass, the breeze along my whiskers, even the soft rustle of leaves—these are the little things that help me feel content. With the right space and gentle guidance, I come alive. That’s the kind of home I’d love. A tan-coated, medium rabbit who appreciates quiet companionship and a creature who is generally easygoing yet perceptive. If you think you might be my people, please come meet me. I’m Basil, a one-year-old rabbit with a gentle heart, excited to hop into a new chapter with you.
