Hello, I'm Buddah,
If you're after a soft-spoken, big gentle soul who makes a room feel warmer just by being there, I might be the one. I’m about 2 years old; old enough to be calm and young enough to settle into your daily life. I move with a quiet grace and respond to kindness with a slow blink and loud friendly meow, leaning into pats when presented slowly. Something else you should know about me is; I love my friend Bud! he looks like me except he has a ginger coat and we thrive when together. We would rather going home together but if you only have space for one of us we understand. I’m not one to rush your day; I’m a patient observer who takes some time to settle in but once I sense you’re safe, will lean in for a quiet pat and offer a comforting presence. I enjoy a sunny spot, a warm blanket and your quiet company. My energy level leans toward the easygoing, and I’m happiest when the world slows to a gentle pace around me. In new surroundings I may take a moment to adjust, needing time and encouragement to feel secure. With patience, I blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will greet you with a calm purr and a soft meow. To thrive, I need a quiet, calm household—space that respects my need to acclimate and a routine that stays steady. Come say hi at the shelter today!
