Healthy Pet Days

RSPCA NSW’s Community Healthy Pet Days aim to enhance animal welfare by assisting high-priority communities with services, resources, and information, promoting good animal welfare, improving people's wellbeing, and strengthening the bond between our communities and their pets.

Our Community Healthy Pet Days remove the barriers preventing pet owners from accessing core veterinary services and supplies. RSPCA NSW Community Outreach aims to  positively impact animal welfare by keeping people and pets together and reducing the demand on council pounds and shelters. Healthy Pet Days provide attendees’ animal companions with free vaccinations, behavioural advice, veterinary health checks, and microchipping services. Access to subsidised desexing at the local veterinary clinics occurs after the event.

Please note that our Community Healthy Pet Days are run in priority locations to provide veterinary services and resources to those who need them most.

Keeping People and Animals Together

Community Healthy Pet Days are an essential component to improving human and animal welfare and strengthening the bonds people share with their pets. Much like our other Outreach Programs, Healthy Pet Days directly address the many hurdles facing animal carers today.

Our Crisis Support Programs help keep people and animals together through times of hardship, hospitalisation, and domestic and family violence.
