Baby is a gentle, 5-month-old kitten with a soft, sensitive nature who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. She’s quite shy and will need a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace, with a cosy space to retreat to when things feel a bit much. Baby prefers consent-based interaction—she enjoys pats on her own terms and will quietly let you know when she’s ready for affection. She does love to play with her toys, but also needs plenty of time to herself to feel secure and comfortable.
Because of her sensitive personality, Baby would do best with someone experienced in cat behaviour who can read her cues and support her confidence as it grows. She can live with other cats but would likely be happiest as the only pet, as sudden noise and movement can startle her. A home without dogs or young children would suit her best, though calm, respectful older kids may be okay. With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, Baby will blossom into a sweet, trusting companion who forms a very special bond with her person.
