Little bit about Cody

Hi, I’m Cody!

I’m a sweet 4 month old kitten who can be a little anxious and fearful when I first meet new people or find myself somewhere unfamiliar. I might need a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable, but once I settle into my new home, I’ll start to show you my gentle and loving personality.

I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who will give me the time I need to build my confidence. I might not immediately enjoy being cuddled or handled, and that’s okay! I’d really like my new family to let me set the pace and interact with me on my terms. Please don’t rush me — I’ll come to you when I’m ready.

While I can be a little shy at first, you’ll get to see a much more playful side of me once I feel safe. Watching me come out of my shell, discover my surroundings and enjoy myself is one of the best parts of getting to know me.

I’d do best in a quiet and calm household without children under 12, where I can have the space and peaceful environment I need to feel safe.

I hope my new family understands that I have my own personality and boundaries. With patience, kindness and plenty of time, I can learn to trust and become more confident.

If you’re willing to give me the time and space I need, I promise that watching my confidence grow will make the bond we build together extra special.
