RSPCA in Shorts Film Festival 2026: Marking 153 Years of Animal Welfare
Join us to celebrate animals and the people keeping pets and their families together. On 28 October, RSPCA NSW returns to the big screen for the second-ever RSPCA in Shorts Film Festival at HOYTS Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.
Following the success of our inaugural festival in 2023, this one-night-only event will showcase a brand-new collection of short films shining a light on the incredible work of RSPCA NSW.
From life-changing rescue stories to heartwarming insights into the people behind every success, these films capture the compassion, resilience and hope at the heart of everything we do.
As we mark 153 years of caring for people and animals, the festival is a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come and look towards the exciting future we’re building together.
This year’s festival will also support our new Community Pet Pantry initiative, which aims to ensure pets remain with their families even regardless of the difficulties they may be facing.
We’ll supply the popcorn. You supply the kibble.
We invite you to bring a small bag of unopened pet food to the festival. Together, we can ensure no family has to choose between supporting themselves and feeding their pet.
Enjoy the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, meet our Four Paws Welcome Committee, celebrate the launch of a special new partnership, and enter the draw to win a fantastic raffle prize on the evening.
