Hi there! My name is Vespa, and I’m a shy little lady with plenty of love to give, just from a distance and through slow blinks at first.
I came from an environment where I wasn’t exposed to much, so the big world can be a little scary! Thankfully, the lovely RSPCA staff have been helping me discover how wonderful life and people can be.
They call me an “inbetweener”! I enjoy human company and may even learn to love pats and affection, but for now, I’m happiest being your little shadow, keeping you company while you watch TV. I’m still learning that pats can feel lovely, especially when they’re on my terms. I may not be a cuddle bug just yet, but who knows what time and patience might bring!
I’ve had a lovely feline friend, Aela, who has helped me come out of my shell. We aren’t bonded, but going home together would be lovely! Alternatively, a confident, friendly resident cat could help me settle in. We’d still need slow introductions and plenty of our own resources. I would be best going into a home with support from another cat.
I’d love a quiet/calm household with no kids under 6, where I can feel safe and blossom at my own pace. I might not be the cat who jumps straight into your arms, but I could become your sweetest little shadow. Will you give me a chance?
