Hello, my name is Joey, and I’m a sweet and friendly boy searching for a forever home with my best friend Emma. We’re a bonded pair, which means we need to be adopted together — we’ve grown up side by side and feel happiest when we’re together.
I’m a little more outgoing than Emma and may warm up to new people a bit quicker, but I’m still a gentle soul who appreciates a calm home where I can settle in at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable, I love spending time near my people. You’ll often find me happily following you around the house, keeping you company as you go about your day.
When it’s time to relax, I enjoy curling up beside you on the lounge or joining you on the bed at night. Being close to my humans is one of my favourite things.
I’m a medium-haired boy, which means I’ll need regular brushing to keep my coat looking its best. Luckily, this can be a lovely bonding time for us once I’m settled and feeling comfortable.
Emma and I also love to play together — especially with string toys that we can chase around the house. We have lots of fun keeping each other entertained.
