We always have so many animals turning up on our doorstep, so your soulmate might just be waiting for you here. Start by scrolling through RSPCA NSW Adopt to see all the dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, guinea pigs, bunnies and chickens (and more!) looking for their fresh start. Then, figure out the nearest shelter, branch or Care Centre near you by heading here. Our animals come fully vet-checked and, depending on species, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. As of February 2020, here are our current adoption prices for our shelters and Care Centre. (Each individual branch varies in pricing so to find out how much it is to adopt from your local branch, please get in contact them. Details here.) Canines Puppy (under six months): $415 Dog (six months to eight years): $385 Golden oldies (eight years plus): $160 Price includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations and flea and worming treatment. Felines Kitten (under six months): $220 Catchoo kitten (under six months): $150 Cat (six months to eight years): $150 Catchoo cat (six months to eight years): $100 Golden oldies (eight years plus): $100 Price includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations and flea and worming treatment. Birds Small (e.g., budgie, dove, finch, pigeon): $5 – 25 Medium (e.g., cockatiel, lorikeet): minimum $40 Large (e.g., cockatoo, corella, rosella): minimum $65 Exotic birds (e.g., Alexandrine parakeet, Conure, Eclectus, Indian ringneck, Major Mitchell’s cockatoo, peacock): $150 – $415 Birds may be subject to individual pricing depending on veterinary services provided.
