How much is it to adopt an animal?

If you’re looking to expand your family in a furry or feathered way, don’t forget to check out our shelters, branches and Care Centre.

We always have so many animals turning up on our doorstep, so your soulmate might just be waiting for you here.

Start by scrolling through RSPCA NSW Adopt to see all the dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, guinea pigs, bunnies and chickens (and more!) looking for their fresh start. Then, figure out the nearest shelter, branch or Care Centre near you by heading here.

Our animals come fully vet-checked and, depending on species, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

As of February 2020, here are our current adoption prices for our shelters and Care Centre. (Each individual branch varies in pricing so to find out how much it is to adopt from your local branch, please get in contact them. Details here.)
