Little bit about Oolong

Hello, I'm Oolong, a tiny whisker-twitching explorer just under 3 months old. I move with a curious little spring in my steps and a purr that grows louder the moment I feel safe. Give me a moment to sniff you out, and I’ll start a conversation with soft nose nudges and bright eyes that promise adventure, kindness, and a whole lot of cuddle energy when I’m ready to settle in. I may be small, but my curiosity is big—every corner is a new clue, every rustle of a blanket a tiny parade, and I’m always ready to greet you with a whisker-kiss and a warm, hopeful heart.

I’m a kitten with a big heart and a high-energy heartbeat—the world is a playground and I’m eager to explore every corner. I’m fond of gentle companionship and will likely form a warm bond with someone who speaks softly and takes the time to let me choose the pace. When I’m not chasing a sunbeam or a flutter of movement, I enjoy quiet moments—purring into your palm, curling into a warm lap, and feeling the world slow down around me. I love the gentle warmth of a sunny window, and the soft rustle of a blanket that means nap time is near. To feel safe and happy, I thrive with patient, predictable routine and a safe space where I can observe first, then leap into play.

A home for me would be one that can offer plenty of daily play and gentle guidance as I grow. A patient family who can provide a calm, steady environment and lots of gentle interaction would help me blossom. I may be quick to settle with familiar voices and soft hands, and I’ll reward that trust with lively curiosity and affection. Having a routine helps me map out my day—meals, play, cuddle, and quiet corners where I can snooze with a purring rumble. A space where I can explore safely, watch the world, and return to a warm lap is ideal.

If you’d like to meet me and see whether we’re a good match, I’d love to see you at the shelter. Come say hello and let’s start our story together.
