Little bit about Darla

Hi there, I’m a little furball with a big, sunny heart, just over two and a half months old, still discovering the world one curious sniff at a time. I bound into rooms with a wagging tail and a nose that’s forever tasting new smells—the warm kitchen, a sunbeam on the living room rug, and the quiet rustle of blankets as I settle in. I’m learning that gentle pats mean safety, and that a cozy lap can be the coziest place in the house. Each moment I’m alive feels like a page turning in a story I’m eager to finish—with you.

I’m a friendly, curious soul who loves people and dogs. Other dogs are some of my favorite people—imagine a weekend at the park, noses nudging, tails thumping, and zoomies around the grass. I’m adaptable and generally comfortable in new spaces, a sign that I’ll settle in with a patient routine and a calm voice. I need daily chances to learn about life: meeting new people, exploring little corners of the house, and practice with gentle guidance as I grow. A warm, predictable rhythm, kind encouragement, and plenty of soft naps in sunlit spots help me feel safe and sunny inside.

I’d thrive in a home with a steady, gentle routine and someone ready to grow with me. I appear dog-social, so the company of another friendly pup could be a wonderful fit, as long as introductions are calm and slow. There are no known concerns around children, but I’m still a baby, so I’ll benefit from supportive hands and patient moments with kids and grown-ups alike. I don’t have special fencing needs, and I’m happy either indoors or with a quiet outdoor space where I can snoop, sniff, and dream in the grass. My energy is moderate—a balance of playful curiosity and quiet cuddle time.

If my little story sounds like yours, I’d love to meet you. Come say hello and see if we click, or start an application to adopt me, and I’ll bring you a lifetime of soft cuddles, curious nose taps, and faithful wiggles.
