Hi there, I’m Barkley, a little Chihuahua with a big personality and a very special way of looking at life. I may only have three legs, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the little things and looking for a loving home to call my own!
I’m a friendly little guy who enjoys the company of people, especially when introductions are gentle and I’m given time to feel comfortable. I can sometimes feel overwhelmed if unfamiliar people handle me too much too quickly, so I’d love a family who understands that the best friendships are built with patience, kindness, and a little space.
I’d be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home with a predictable routine and low-pressure interactions. Older children aged 12 and over who can take things slowly and respect my boundaries would suit me best.
I’m also a social little soul when it comes to my canine friends! Having other little dogs around has always been part of my life, so I must have a friendly canine companion to help me feel settled and happy. 🐶💕
I’ll need secure outdoor access with solid fencing and footings to keep me safe. Indoor and outdoor access is important, so I can enjoy the comforts of home while still having opportunities to explore.
